Important information

I am writing to let you know that Wayne Grills, Managing Director of Lantra Awards, has now left the business to pursue other opportunities outside of Lantra.

Over the past nine months Lantra’s trustees have been considering how best the group should respond to the new economic and political environment. It is now clear that as a result of the review of the role and remit of SSCs, we will need to adopt a far more commercial approach. The intension of the changes in Lantra is to let us focus more directly on meeting the needs of our customers, employers and learners in as efficient and cost effective way as possible. Lantra Awards and Lantra Sector Skills Council will therefore come together into a single management structure. It is anticipated that the new structure will be fully operating later this month.

We are very aware of the needs to guard against any conflict of interest occurring in the new organisation; we have therefore extensively drafted our conflict of interest policy in full consultation with the various regulatory bodies to ensure that we maintain the integrity and independence of our different activities.
